If you don’t have your own domain name, you can request a free domain name
from us, or apply to take over a domain name that are available (also free).
To apply for a domain, simply fill out the hosting application indicating the
domain name you are requesting. Hosting is not provided for all domains. Note
that some ads you see are temporary, and will be removed if they are ever
adopted. If a domain is not adopted for a few weeks, they are removed from
this list. Please email fanfusion[at]gmail.com to request a domain name you
don’t see on the list.

Rules (for free domain requests)

• New* We can offer gallery, forum, media, etc. domains for new hostees who receive 500+ visitors/day.  However we don’t like these types of domain names and will consider them on a case by case basis.
• Special arrangements/restrictions may apply for certain domains.
• Your domain name will be used for your site only. However, if you abandon your domain name within a month, you agree to try to find someone who wants the domain. If you move your content, you must host yourself and agree to participation in approved link exchanges only.
• If you close your site and simply want your domain name deleted so it’s not taken by someone else, this may be possible upon request.

List of Adoptable Sites/Domains

We normally don’t like to do site adoptions, but by request we’ve put up a few abandoned sites for adoption.  Please have a HQ site example to apply for these.  See the list on the main site.

Rules for adopting domains:

• You must intend to stay on the site for at least 2 months.  If an emergency comes up that makes you unable to maintain a site after you adopt it, you may talk to us but please do not apply for a domain name if you will just abandon it right after.
