The long-awaited new wordpress theme (#8 ) is finally here.  Keep in mind that you must be a hostee to use this theme.  If you wish to use this theme, simply apply for hosting at www.fanfusion.org/apply We are not setting a password to the themes section but if we see users abusing the downloads and using it on other sites, the themes will be taken down from the public.

We would like to make a site plug for Mark Sheppard, a friend of one of the staff of fanfusion.  He has been creating some new music and would like to invite all the viewers and fans that visit our network to check out his music.  So go check out his website, his new song, and follow him on Twitter

We have a lot of extra server space right now.  We are giving away text-ads and no-ads accounts.  To apply, simply indicate on the hosting form that you are interested in one of these accounts.  Note: these are for new accounts only and you must be accepted for hosting on this specific server since they are only being set up on certain servers.

We have opened new servers and have a lot of space right now and are giving away 50 create-your-own ad account. What this means is that instead of the usual revenue-generating ads from Google Adsense, you may design your own 728×90, 468×60, or 300×250 (other sizes also available at your convenience) “FanFusion” ad code. This allows you to create an ad that matches your layout and you do not need to worry about ad codes with unknown colors, images, and content from Google. For example, instead of the normal 728×90 ad code, you can design your own 728×90 image and simply link it to www.fanfusion.org, or design an ad code for our Twitter and link it to http://twitter.com/fanfusionorg. You must be accepted for hosting on this new server in order to receive such an account.  There are certain guidelines to follow if you are accepted which will be sent to you if you are accepted.  Since the purpose of this is to reduce the appearance of ads on the page, you are not permitted to use your own advertisement either under this option.

How to apply:
Simply submit an application as usual (www.fanfusion.org/apply) and indicate anywhere on the application that you are interested in a create-your-own-ad account.

We’ve opened up a new media server.  We are currently setting up media/phpmotion accounts and installing the script.  If you are looking for a media account, please request a media subdomain by emailing fanfusion@gmail.com.   We have tested an installation and it is working perfectly and videos are uploading without any problems.  You are also welcome to run other media scripts on the account although most hostees prefer phpmotion.

We have ordered a new server and it will be deployed and ready later today (Sunday/Monday). It will feature the premium auto-installer softaculous. This premium auto-installer allows the installation of 148 scripts, compared to less than 50 with Fantastico. Fantastico will still be offered for anyone who wishes to use this, but a few hostees who have tested this script have much preferred this over Fantastico.
